How much is Big Walk on PS5 — and what does "included with PS Plus" mean?

Two separate questions get mixed up here:

Getting the game. Big Walk costs $19.99 to buy outright in the US store. It is also one of the August 2026 PS Plus monthly games: the PlayStation Blog says members can claim it between August 4 and August 31, while the store page shows the offer ending September 1, 2026 at 16:00 UTC (time zone and store settlement differences; both dates as published). Claimed monthly games stay tied to an active subscription under PS Plus rules.
Playing online. However you got the game, the store states PS Plus required for online play — and Big Walk is an online co-op game with no full single-player mode.

So: Big Walk is not "free on PS5". It is a $19.99 game currently claimable through PS Plus, and PS Plus is needed to play it online either way. Prices and subscription offers change; this was last checked August 9, 2026.

How many players does Big Walk support on PS5?
