The US store showed $14.99 against a $19.99 regular price when we last checked on August 9, 2026. Launch discounts end without much warning, so treat any price older than a few days as a guess — the price page tracks all platforms in one place.

Intel Macs are not listed as a supported configuration. The separate Mac App Store version has different listed requirements — the system requirements page compares both.
Co-op, crossplay and player count on Steam
The Steam version supports 2–12 player online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer with PS5, Switch 2 and Mac App Store players. There is no matchmaking — you join friends via the friend list or a Join Code. More detail: player count and crossplay.
Controller and keyboard support
The official FAQ confirms keyboard and mouse work, and that most PC gamepads are supported. Every input can be rebound under Settings → Rebinding. We checked the Steam feature list, and it did not show a "Full Controller Support" badge at the time — the safe statement is "most controllers work per the developers", not a formal Steam certification.
Languages, achievements, cloud and family sharing
Steam lists interface support for 14 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Turkish. The store table marks interface support only — it does not confirm full voice-over or subtitles in each language.
The game has 12 Steam Achievements and lists Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Two cautions: Steam Cloud does not change the fact that the session host owns the world save, and Family Sharing does not by itself confirm that one purchased copy can be played by several people online at once. Is Big Walk Steam Deck verified?
As of August 9, 2026, the Steam page shows no official Deck compatibility rating (Verified, Playable or otherwise). The "Played mostly on Steam Deck" review filter is a generic Steam option and proves nothing. Official rating: not confirmed.
If it runs slowly
The official FAQ suggests this order: lower Render Scale first (reduces GPU load), then Quality (reduces CPU and GPU load), then raise Render Scale again until it looks right.
